Who we are
This website is run by Blue Paw Software ("we"). We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us about privacy at privacy@bluepawsoftware.com.
What we collect
- Forms. When you use the contact or early-access form we receive what you type: your name, e-mail address, company, role, details of your site and your message.
- E-mail. If you e-mail us we receive your address and what you send.
- Visits. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the site. We do not run analytics.
This website sets no cookies of its own and does not use advertising or tracking cookies. You do not have to give us your details, but we cannot reply without an e-mail address.
Why we use it, and the lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry and, where you asked for it, to provide an evaluation of our software: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To keep the website secure and working: our legitimate interest.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing e-mail unless you have asked for it. We make no automated decisions about you.
Who processes it for us
Cloudflare (hosting and security), Namecheap (our e-mail) and Resend (which delivers messages from the website forms to our inbox). Where these providers process data outside the UK they do so under UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to business are deleted within 24 months. Records of customers are kept for as long as the customer relationship lasts and then for six years, for tax and contract purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict our use of it, or ask for the data you gave us in a portable form. Write to privacy@bluepawsoftware.com.
Your right to object
Where we use your data on the basis of our legitimate interests, you can object at any time. We will stop unless we have compelling grounds to continue.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, tell us first at privacy@bluepawsoftware.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and tell you the outcome. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
